

Founded in 2004, the ensemble and composer collective Nelly Boyd has specialized in experimental and minimalistic music, and has worked with composers such as Phill Niblock, Alvin Lucier, Lois V Vierk, Christian Wolff, and Rhys Chatham. The trio will be performing pieces specifically written for them by Kirsten Reese, Midori Hirano and Bernhard Lang.Įnsemble Nelly Boyd from Hamburg will be performing a composition by Robert Engelbrecht. Silke Lange, Sebastian Berweck and Martin Lorenz will be taking the stage with a laboratory of analogue and digital synthesizers and machines.

Founded in 2014, the collective has committed itself to realizing electronic scores, restoring and (re-) staging forgotten electronic works as well as collaborating on new pieces with contemporary artists. The festival will be kicked off by Berlin based electro-acoustical trio Lange//Berweck//Lorenz.
